As the domestic economy develops, the national power grid and substation development requires extremely high demand for the types and quantity of the high voltage apparatus. Currently the GIS Equipment can be divided into two types: GIS and AIS. GIS requires much smaller occupied land and high reliability. Comparatively speaking, the AIS is much cheaper in terms of cost but occupying much more land. Therefore, many customers need an inter-mediate type combining both advantages of GIS and AIS. This is the reason why the ZHW- HGIS was developed.

The HGIS consists of CB, DS, ES, FES, CT and gas bushing, can be used together with AIS, requiring smaller land but higher reliability and   suitable cost.

High reliability can be ensured based on the conventional GIS, which requires less site work and fulfilling the switchyard requirement.

Proven standard modular design, which has advantages such as simple structure, less installation work and cost etc.

Cost for HGIS is around 80% of that of the GIS and 60% of AIS, which is more economical.

-Compartments are divided by grounded metal partitions (PM).

-Quick make earthing switches can be provided as an option for earthing both in cable circuit and main busbar and it can operate in front side.

-VCB can be on/off and drawn in/out with the door closed. Mechanical interlocking is used to prevent mal-operation.
