On November 26, 2024, a meeting of the Acceptance Council for the investor-funded project “Upgrade of the 110kV Hoa Xa Substation” took place at the 110kV Hoa Xa Substation. Mr. Bui Hai Thanh, Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, Chairman of the Acceptance Council for the investor, chaired the meeting along with the specialized departments of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, the Project Management Boards of Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid Company, Ho Chi Minh City High Voltage Power Grid Company, Ho Chi Minh City Power Testing Company, Ho Chi Minh City Power Information Technology Company, Ho Chi Minh City Power Dispatching Center, Chanh Hung Trading-Service-Construction Joint Stock Company, and other related units.
The Investor’s Acceptance Council for the project “Renovation of the 110kV Hỏa Xa Substation” has successfully registered the energization of Transformer T3 and completed the connection in accordance with the energization and commissioning operation procedure issued by the Southern Power System Dispatch Center.
After approximately four years, the renovation project of the Hoa Xa Substation has sequentially energized and commissioned three 110kV 63MVA transformers – T1, T2, and T3. This has completed the main electrical connection diagram of the 110kV Hoa Xa Substation, contributing to improved power supply quality for customers served by Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation.
Despite facing numerous challenges in site arrangement, construction conditions, and the highest safety requirements due to operating entirely in an energized environment, the joint venture contractor and Chan Hung Trading – Services – Engineering Joint Stock Company successfully met the schedule set by Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation. This project serves as another milestone affirming the capability and reputation of Chan Hung. It marks a significant leap forward in Chan Hung’s capacity to construct and install 110kV substations and above, as well as 110kV and 220kV transmission lines and above.
With the achieved results, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation expressed its gratitude to the contractor. On behalf of the corporation, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, presented a token of appreciation to the contractor, Chan Hung Trading – Services – Engineering Joint Stock Company.
The representative of the contractor, Chan Hung Trading – Services – Engineering Joint Stock Company, accepted the gift and expressed gratitude to the General Director, the Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation, who also serves as the Chairman of the Investor’s Acceptance Council, along with other council members and relevant units. Their support and assistance were instrumental in helping the contractor complete the project “Renovation of the 110kV Substation” on schedule.
